Robbie Williams Tattoo

Everyone wants a Robbie Williams tattoo!

Robbie Williams – love him or hate him, you can’t get away from the fact he is an enigmatic character, and a heavily tattooed one at that.

He has, at last count, about 15-plus tattoos, and they all have emotional significance to him.

Celtic Cross, Right Thigh. He got this tattoo while he was still in the boy-band “Take That”, and proves that even then, he never really fit in.

Maori Design, Left Upper Arm/Shoulder. This is reported to tell the story of his life, and who it was done by is the source of some contention.

“Jack” and “Farrell”, one name on each inside wrist. This is the name of his grandfather.

Crucifix and angels, Right Arm, inside. This scene is taken from the crucifixion, and shows Jesus on the cross, surrounded by angels and a dove (representing the Holy Spirit) and stars. He has the name “Jack” underneath, for his grandfather Jack Farrell. “I Love U Mother” lower arms, in Old English. Robbie has a fabulous relationship with his mother, to whom he is very close. He has “I Love U” on one arm, and “Mother” on the other – six letters each.

“Chacun A Son Gout”, around his neck (top of chest) which is French for “to each their own”.

“All You Need is Love” music and lyrics on Lower Back. This is said to be Robbie’s favourite song, and a motto he lives by.

“B” behind his left ear. For his nana Betty; Robbie also had a great bond with his nana, and has written a song about her walking with him while she is in heaven – the first song he wrote himself.

A Swallow on each side of his navel. There are many interpretations for this one – everything from: a sailor had a swallow tattoo to represent 5000 miles at sea, to protection, to the fact that as swallows mate for life, Robbie is after a family.

Eye of Horus on the back of his neck. The eye of Horus is a symbol of protection, amongst other things.

1023 on the top of his left wrist. His best mate is Jonathon Wilkes, and J is the 10th letter of the alphabet, W is the 23rd. They have been friends since the age of four, and have flatted together.

The crest of his home town of Burslem on his left inside lower arm. His mother, Jan, runs a pub in Burslem, and Robbie holds his home town close to his heart.

Lion’s Head with “Elvis Grant Me Serenity” above and “Born to Be Mild” Below, right upper shoulder, a love heart on the inside of each wrist, and “L O V E” on the knuckles of his right hand.

These Robbie Williams tattoos most likely have personal significance (for example, Robbie is an Elvis fan) and be simply quotes he likes and lives by.
